Training Planning Analyst, Flight Crew

Role Overview

Qantas offers an exciting permanent, full-time opportunity for a Training Planning Analyst within our Flight Crew Training Scheduling Team, based at the Mascot Corporate Campus in Sydney.

In this role, you will be central to managing the planning and operational framework for the Training Scheduling team. You will serve as a subject matter expert (SME), offering support and guidance to Coordinator Training Scheduling team members on daily tasks, the interpretation and application of industrial agreements and legislation, and the adherence to departmental procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the planning and operational aspects related to the Training Scheduling team’s environment.
• Act as a subject matter expert for training scheduling processes and systems.
• Provide assistance and training to Coordinator Training Scheduling, Flight Crew team members.
• Interpret and ensure implementation of industrial awards and relevant legislation.
• Execute and maintain adherence to established departmental procedures.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders across various levels.

Required Skills & Experience

• Exceptional communication skills enabling the creation of durable relationships with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
• Comprehensive understanding of Crew Planning processes and the airline’s flying program.
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience within a crew planning and/or airline operations environment.
• Demonstrated ability to be flexible according to operational requirements.
• Capability to constructively challenge existing work methods and propose improvements.
