Position Overview

Reece is looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Trade Counter Assistant to join our team at the Port Adelaide branch. In this role, you will be the face of Reece, providing exceptional service to our trade customers, assisting with inquiries, processing orders, and maintaining a well-organized branch environment.

Your Duties Will Include

  • Serving customers at the trade counter efficiently and professionally.
  • Providing product advice and information.
  • Accurately processing sales orders and payments.
  • Handling customer inquiries via phone and in person.
  • Assisting with stock management, including receiving goods and stocktakes.
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and presentable counter and showroom area.
  • Collaborating with the branch team to achieve sales targets and operational goals.

What We’re Looking For

  • A strong commitment to outstanding customer service.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Previous experience in a retail or trade counter role is advantageous, but not essential.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn about our products.
  • Basic computer literacy.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
  • A current driver’s license is often beneficial.
  • Physical fitness to handle manual tasks, including some lifting.
