As a Senior Banking Consultant within our Retail Banking division, you will be instrumental in delivering the target customer experience. This involves embracing a positive, relationship-focused, customer-first methodology that showcases a commitment to identifying and addressing the comprehensive financial requirements of customers. Additionally, you will need to inform customers about convenient banking methods, offering a complete array of professional expertise and guidance to assist customers in achieving their financial needs and objectives. This position entails serving customers directly, engaging in needs-based discussions, including guiding them through the property acquisition process (emphasizing The Home Buyers Journey). These roles might also offer support to less experienced solutions and service personnel for more intricate customer situations.

What will your day look like?

As a Senior Banking Consultant, you will be presented with the opportunity to:

• Serve as an initiator and advocate for ANZ products.
• Actively assist the Branch Manager in executing ANZ’s retail strategy and managing the branch’s daily operations.
• Address customer needs by offering ANZ’s portfolio of home loans, insurance, investment products, and transactional services.
• Assume responsibility for ‘knowing your customer’ from a risk management viewpoint.
• Achieve the desired customer experience through a positive, relationship-oriented, customer-centric approach, demonstrating enthusiasm for identifying and prioritizing customers’ complete financial needs.

What will you bring?

To excel and advance in this role, you ideally possess the following attributes:

• Previous experience in cultivating strong relationships in a customer-centric position.
• Considerable experience in financial services, ideally within the retail banking industry.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Leadership and coaching competencies.
• Experience as an influential user and advocate of technology.
• Capacity to handle multiple tasks, highly flexible towards change and uncertainty.
