Property Analyst

Role Purpose

Join Vicinity Centres as a Property Analyst based at our National Office. This role provides critical analytical support to our asset management and investment teams. You will be involved in financial modelling, market research, valuation analysis, and reporting to support strategic decision-making related to our property portfolio.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and maintain complex financial models (DCF, feasibility studies) for property assets.
• Undertake valuations and analysis to support acquisitions, divestments, and development projects.
• Conduct market research and analysis on retail property trends, competitor activities, and demographic shifts.
• Prepare high-quality reports, presentations, and investment papers for senior management and investment committees.
• Assist in the preparation of annual property budgets and forecasts.
• Liaise with valuers, agents, and other external consultants.
• Support asset managers with performance analysis and strategic asset planning.
• Contribute to portfolio analysis and reporting requirements.

Who You Are

• Tertiary qualified in Property, Finance, Commerce, or a related discipline.
• Previous experience in a property analysis, valuations, or property finance role is essential.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modelling.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent report writing and presentation skills.
• Understanding of the Australian property market, particularly retail property.
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively.
