At Cochlear, we connect people with the world of sound. We are looking for a passionate People and Culture (P&C) Manager to support our operations across the APAC region. This role, based in Sydney, is instrumental in driving our people strategy and fostering a positive workplace culture.
Your Contribution
- Partner with business leaders across the APAC region to provide strategic and operational HR support.
- Implement P&C initiatives related to talent acquisition, performance management, employee relations, engagement, and development.
- Provide coaching and guidance to managers and employees on HR policies and practices.
- Manage complex employee relations issues.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of regional P&C programs.
- Ensure compliance with local employment laws across different APAC countries.
- Analyse HR metrics to inform decision-making and strategy.
What You’ll Bring
- Solid experience as an HR Manager or Senior HR Business Partner, preferably with multi-country APAC experience.
- Broad knowledge of HR disciplines, including employee relations, talent management, and compensation & benefits.
- Strong interpersonal, influencing, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Resilience and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related field.
- Experience in the medical device or healthcare industry is an advantage.
