About the Role:

Deliver superior and efficient HR assistance to employees, managers, and other HR professionals concerning service inquiries. Accountable for maintaining employee data and facilitating key HR lifecycle activities. Responsible for administrative tasks using company systems and coordinating activities with third-party providers when necessary.

Key Responsibilities may include:

  • Modify employee records during HR lifecycle events (including onboarding, job updates, transfers, leaves, terminations, and offboarding).
  • Address employee inquiries regarding HR procedures like holidays, leave days, benefits, and compensation.
  • Assist HR Business Partners and other HR team members with various requests.
  • Draft employment contracts, letters, and other HR documents when automated or self-service methods are unavailable.
  • Consistently promote self-service options during case management interactions.
  • Administer employee benefit systems.
  • Pinpoint areas for improvement in HR processes and engage in diverse HR projects.
  • Ensure adherence to local policies and operate consistently with company and HR guidelines regarding conduct, zero harm, confidentiality, data protection, and data handling.

As an essential, valued member of the HR Operations team, reporting to the HR Operations Manager, APAC, you will primarily be based in Macquarie Park, NSW, with a flexible hybrid work arrangement available. You will create a significant, enduring impact within a dynamic, supportive setting, utilizing your excellent communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving abilities to assist employees across the APAC Region with all HR Operational concerns. This includes support for HR systems (Workday & Kronos), HR policy and program inquiries, and leading impactful projects.

What will ensure your success:

  • A completed University Degree in HR, Business Management, or a related field.
  • Some HR experience is preferred, along with a strong desire to advance your career in Human Resources and make a positive difference in the workplace.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills, demonstrated by the ability to devise solutions for time-sensitive and confidential issues.
  • A keen focus on delivering a seamless employee experience, capable of balancing business needs with employee needs while ensuring compliance.
  • Outstanding attention to detail and the flexibility to manage conflicting priorities daily.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (especially MS Excel and MS PowerPoint).
  • A readiness to learn HRIS systems.
