About the Opportunity
Reece Group is seeking a proactive and experienced Fire Business Development Lead to drive growth within our Fire Protection division. This strategic role involves identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with key stakeholders (consultants, contractors, end-users), and promoting Reece’s range of fire protection products and solutions.
Responsibilities Include
- Developing and executing strategies to expand Reece’s market share in the fire protection sector.
- Identifying and pursuing new project opportunities and key accounts.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with specifiers, contractors, and industry bodies.
- Providing technical expertise and product knowledge support to customers and the sales team.
- Conducting market analysis to identify trends, competitor activities, and potential new product lines.
- Preparing and delivering presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
- Collaborating closely with branch managers and internal sales teams to ensure seamless customer service.
- Representing Reece Fire at industry events and trade shows.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Proven track record in business development or senior sales roles, preferably within the fire protection, plumbing, or building services industry.
- Strong technical understanding of fire protection systems and products.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work autonomously.
- Strong network within the relevant industry sectors (construction, specification).
- Relevant qualifications or extensive industry experience.
