What role will you play?

Operating within our specialized home loan team in a Business Development capacity, you will leverage your proficient communication abilities to cultivate strategic partnerships with mortgage brokers, effectively positioning Macquarie home loans and expanding market presence. You will apply your current sales and credit expertise to identify prospects, assess qualifications, inform, and collaborate with brokers, guaranteeing that the loan quality and risk management associated with each relationship align with our standards.

A history in credit or a comparable lending position will aid in efficiently overseeing a portfolio of brokers to successfully qualify and convert broker leads, thereby achieving favorable business results. As part of an exceptionally high-achieving and responsible team, your main objectives will involve meeting monthly sales quotas, conversion rates, quality standards, and compliance requirements.

What you offer

  • Demonstrated success in a sales role within the financial services industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of the entire home lending application procedure utilized in the broker market.
  • Pre-existing relationships within Australia’s home loan broker network, including connections with Aggregators.
  • Experience in offering a superior level of broker collaboration.
  • Proficient experience in managing portfolios and pipelines diligently.
  • Understanding of Australia’s home loan broker landscape, available products, and credit guidelines and procedures.
  • Solid credit knowledge.
  • Self-driven, target-focused, and proactive mindset.
  • Strong analytical and communication capabilities.
  • Proven ability in fostering both internal and external relationships.
  • A mindset geared towards continuous learning.
