Analyst – Level 2 Support

About the Role

Evolution Mining is seeking an IT Support Analyst (Level II) for our Mungari site near Kalgoorlie. This position involves providing both on-site and remote technical assistance across a large mine operation. You will be troubleshooting issues related to desktops, applications, networks, and mobile devices. The role focuses on ensuring prompt resolution of IT incidents through collaboration with external support partners and internal teams. A strong customer service orientation, effective problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to perform in a dynamic setting are crucial.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide desktop support for client-server applications, web-based applications, Microsoft software, Windows OS, and geology-specific software.
• Manage user accounts within on-premise and Azure Active Directory environments.
• Deploy and manage the Standard Operating Environment (SOE) using Windows Autopilot.
• Support collaboration technologies, including Teams video conferencing and Mitel phone systems.
• Oversee the deployment and upkeep of iOS and Android mobile devices.
• Conduct initial assessments of cybersecurity events like malware and phishing attempts.
• Maintain malware protection across all desktop and mobile devices and escalate issues appropriately.
• Keep IT documentation current and manage IT asset registers.
• Assist with site-specific technology projects to maintain efficient IT operations.
• Contribute to initiatives focused on optimizing IT service delivery processes.
• Participate in an on-call schedule for after-hours IT support.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and security protocols.
• Promote IT as a reliable and valued technology partner within the company.

Work Schedule & Location

This role is based at the Mungari operation near Kalgoorlie, WA. It operates on a Fly-In Fly-Out (FIFO) roster from Perth: 7 days on, 7 days off (12-hour day shifts).
